The Mule 4010 Trans4x4 Diesel is the world’s first off-road
utility vehicle to enable
transformation from a four passenger to two passenger
seating configuration thanks to a fold-down rear seat that acts
as an extension of the cargo tray.
This, combined with class-leading features such as a powerful
V-Twin engine, selectable 2WD/4WD automatic transmission and
dual-mode rear differential, come together to give the Mule 4010
Trans 4x4 the ultimate combination of practicality and
flexibility.

The MULE’s rear seat folds down at the touch of
a button to maximise cargo space, enabling up to 363kg (1,280 x
1,212 x 287mm) in two-person mode or 182kg (770 x 1,212 x 287mm)
in four-person mode. Cargo bed also tilts when in two-person mode. |

The MULE 4010 Trans4x4 Diesel is powered by a
torquey 953cc, liquid-cooled diesel engine. Compact, lightweight,
durable and powerful, the engine is mounted in a rubber-isolated
sub-frame to ensure low vibration levels. |

Diesel seamlessly shifts from 2WD to 4WD mode for optimum traction
and performance across changing conditions. |

A dual-mode rear differential enables locking

tight turning circles and minimal impact on soft or sensitive
surfaces. |

The belt-driven, Continuously Variable
Transmission (CVT) seamlessly adjusts to provide optimum gearing
at all times. The inclusion of high and low ranges plus a reverse

providing a smooth and comfortable ride unladen, the Mule features
MacPherson strut front suspension and strong DeDion leaf sprung
rear suspension sitting on large, cushioning 23-inch tyres. |
