The MULE’s rear seat folds down at the touch of a button to maximise cargo space, enabling up to 363kg (1,280 x 1,212 x 287mm) in two-person mode or 182kg (770 x 1,212 x 287mm) in four-person mode. Cargo bed also tilts when in two-person mode.

The MULE 4010 Trans4x4 is powered by a torquey 617cc, 4-stroke, OHV, liquid-cooled 90° V-Twin engine. Compact, lightweight, durable and powerful, the engine is mounted in a rubber-isolated sub-frame to ensure low vibration levels.

At the pull of a lever the Mule 4010 Trans™ 4x4 seamlessly shifts from 2WD to 4WD mode for optimum traction and performance across changing conditions.

Dual-mode rear differential enables locking for maximum traction in slippery situations and unlocking for tight turning circles and minimal impact on soft or sensitive surfaces.

The belt-driven, Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) seamlessly adjusts to provide optimum gearing at all times. The inclusion of high and low ranges plus a reverse gear ensure maximum flexibility and usability.

Designed to handle heavy loads while still providing a smooth and comfortable ride unladen, the Mule features MacPherson strut front suspension and strong DeDion leaf sprung rear suspension sitting on large, cushioning 23-inch tyres.
