The highly compact parallel twin produces a very linear power
delivery and has been tuned for optimum performance at everyday
riding speeds. The 180 degree crankshaft with balancer ensures
vibration levels are kept to a minimum. |

Electronic Fuel Injection feeds the engine precisely the right
amount of fuel to provide excellent power delivery and response,
plus improved fuel economy, usability and starting. |

The new under-engine exhaust muffler aids mass centralisation
and the new muffler end cap gives a much sharper image. The
under-engine design of the muffler allows for a slimmer pillion
seating position and also keeps heat away. |

The Versys’ upright seating position provides high levels of
rider comfort combined with superb control over the motorcycle for
around-town handling and manoeuvring. |
